Vasundhara has exhibited her works at IndexPlus Mumbai, Mumbai Art Fair, World Art Dubai, NoFilterDubai, FabrianoinAcquarello Watercolour Festival in Bologna, Italy and IWS Atelier Gallery, SanDiego. Some of her Dubai cityscapes were featured by Arte & Lusso magazine in 2021. She has also collaborated with international artists in some interesting art projects and has conducted workshops in Dubai.
The Raaga Grandeur2 painting depicting Indian Veena player was among the 15 best paintings selected from India (West) for representation at Fabrianoin Acquarello event 2024. It was exhibited at Italy in June 2024 and Fortworth, Texas in October 2024.
2023-Floating into the Ocean
Supported the artist, Anja Bamberg in part of her project to build a giant installation of shopping bag using paper bags reflecting hyperconsumerism which was patronized by Tashkeel, Dubai. My article giving details about the project and the artist has been featured in the Exhibition catalogue.
2022-Dubai City Interpretations
This was a special project created together with Anja. These paintings are a reflection of the Dubai vibe where cultures are interwoven to give it a unique identity. We have blended our styles to create cityscapes of Dubai, which are mixed media works on paper.
The paintings are done on location. One of us started the painting and gave it to the other to complete the next part till one of us felt it requires nothing more to add. The process was unique and exciting as we did not know how the finished painting will look and trusted each other in contributing towards creation of the artwork. Through these explorations, we have attempted to capture a glimpse of this interplay of cultures by weaving our different styles together.
